Buddhist Wong Fung Ling College has come to its 60^th establishment this year.  The school celebrated its Diamond Jubilee Anniversary cum the opening of the new landmark of the school on 29 November 2019.  Mr Ricky Wong Kwong-yiu from Project WeCan Committee, representatives from the Education Bureau and the Hong Kong Buddhist Association,  and other guests were invited to officiate the ceremony.  Cyberport Startup Alumni Association, the partner organisation of the school also joined.

The new landmark is a mosaic tile wall installed in the open garden on the 5^th floor of the school.  After the lighting ceremony by the officiating guests, the wall was unveiled by a moving solar-powered car assembled by the students.  The ceremony ended with an impressive lion dance performed by the students.
