Project WeCan is steaming ahead with 23 new schools and 25 partners joining in 2018/19, increasing the total number of schools to 76, and the total supporting organisations to 68.  Over 66,000 students stand to benefit.

WeCan Phase III was launched at a Ceremony held on 6 July at the Plaza Hollywood, officiated by Mr Nicholas Yang, the Secretary for Innovation and Technology, and Mr Stephen Ng, Chairman of Project WeCan Committee, and joined by all WeCan partners and schools.

6 July also saw the Finale of the WeCan x HKUST STEAM project, where 17 joint-school teams of students had been working for 8 months under the guidance and advice of University Professors and students, using the STEM approach to create/design own prototypes to solve problems.  The prototypes were presented and displayed at the STEAM Expo on 6 & 7 July at Plaza Hollywood.
